Devil Dinosaur Redesign

A comic style illustration of the best Marvel character. Made as a tribute to the legend himself, Jack Kirby. Recently I've spent a lot of time studying comic book art, especially that of Kirby, and Devil Dinosaur has always been a favorite of mine since I was a kid, so naturally this happened. I tried to create a good mix of more naturalistic tyrannosaur proportions, but with that signature Kirby flair. The exaggerated keratin sheath "horns" above the eyes are inspired by the crests seen on other tyrannosaurs such as albertosaurus and gorgosaurus.
